  • How do I care for my Shinelife piece?

    We dip your .925 sterling silver and 14k vermeil jewelry in a layer of rhodium, which should protect your piece from typical tarnish. However, to prolong the beauty and protection, you should apply all makeup, hairspray and lotions before wearing your piece, and remember to remove all jewelry before showering, swimming, and exercising. Occasionally, dip a lint-free cloth (think t-shirt material) in a bowl of warm water and soap and gently wipe clean. When storing your Shine, you can wrap it in a soft cloth and place in a jewelry box or other sealed container to keep it from oxidizing. Please do not use any type of cleaner or chemical/cloth to clean your rhodium dipped sterling or 14k gold vermeil jewelry, as these can damage your piece. Cloths and chemicals can remove the protective rhodium / 14k coating revealing the raw precious metal underneath and lead to tarnishing. Humidity and individual body chemistry can contribute to the speed and severity of tarnishing. Keep the rhodium or 14k vermeil coating in place through proper care, and tarnish should not occur! 🙌 

  • What is your return/exchange policy?

    It is important to us that you love your piece! We guarantee that our pieces will be free of major scratches, spots and other major defects. We cannot, however, warrant minor variations of size, shape or color because many of our pieces are handmade and some variations from the sample photos should be expected {it's considered character, not flaw}.

    PERSONALIZED ITEMS: Please review your personalization information and spelling carefully before submitting your order. Contact us before placing your order if you have questions about personalization, as we are not able to accept cancellations or changes to orders once production has been initiated. Personalized items cannot be accepted for return or exchange, unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect. 

    NON-PERSONALIZED ITEMS: Change your mind on your non-personalized piece? If your piece is not quite what you expected, we are happy to return it for a different item, or issue a full refund within 30 days of the ship date. Your return must be in its original packaging and condition and undamaged. To return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button, or contact us for assistance. Please note that a $4 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. For returns, you should expect to receive your refund within a 2-3 week time period (shipping, return process and your bank's processing time). Please note that all personalized items AND clearance items are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

  • 1 year warranty:

    We warrenty products against breakage for one year. Simply return (prepaid) any product that breaks within a year of purchase and we will repair or replace it at no charge.

  • How can I contact you?

We are currently set up to communicate via email / online only at the moment – a policy that we have in place to protect our customers. Keeping all order communication and details in writing reduces the possibility of miscommunication and mistakes.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Most orders ship within 2-3 business days. Please reference the delivery estimates provided in your cart, or check “My Account” for a status on your existing order. Never hesitate to shoot us a message at hello@shopshinelife.com if you need any further clarification on order status.

  • What is your shipping policy?

    Each product description contains a shipping estimate. Shipping speeds will be provided at checkout based on your shipping address. Typically the postal system delivers to our customers with speed and a smile. Please note, unforeseen events may cause delays in estimated postal service delivery times. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any postal carrier delays or lost packages. We will fulfill our promise to you to ultimately end up Shining!

  • Do you ship internationally?

    We LOVE sending Shinelife to all ends of the earth, but for international orders, please note that you, as the buyer, are responsible for taxes and fees and customs charges for purchasing items from our headquarters in the United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some cannot be shipped to international destinations.

  • I need my order fast, can I rush my order?

    Need your order stat? No problem! Our typical turn time is 2-3 business days before it leaves our studio. You can select one of our expedited shipping options at checkout and we’ll ship your order at the fastest speed available that you'd like. {Estimated delivery times available vary based on item(s) ordered and current production volume, and are calculated and displayed for your choosing at checkout.}

  • Can I gift wrap my piece?

    We take pride in packaging each of our orders in a lovely gift box, tied with a silver bow. Due to the amount of orders purchased as gifts, we do not include invoices or pricing on any packing slips. Need a gift note? No problem! Just mention the note details in the Order Notes section at checkout.

  • What are your pieces made of?

    The materials for each piece are noted in their product description, but all of our jewelry is made of quality materials such as sterling silver, stainless steel, 14k gold vermeil, birthstone crystals and freshwater pearls.

  • Pricing Policy

    Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • The piece I purchased last week is now on sale! Do you do price adjustments?

    We are happy to offer a price adjustment if the price of the item you purchased drops within 14 days. Just shoot us a message at hello@shopshinelife.com. Please note that we cannot offer price adjustments on special promotions (like site-wide flash sales), including %'s off (e.g., 25%, 40%, and 50% etc.) and $'s off.
